If you could travel back in time – what year would you choose and why?: 1960. Music, art, and society were beginning massive changes right about then.
What’s your dream travel destination?: Somewhere tropical, with beaches and volcanoes.
My all-time favorite book is this because…: So many, but I’ll go with ‘Moby Dick.’ A simple story of one man’s obsession that contains so much more through a treasure trove of characters and commentaries.
What is your favorite thing about your job or the industry?: Building relationships has always been my favorite part of working in this industry. Although it has its share of complex personalities, the friendships I have gained over the years are priceless.
Briefly state what got you into the event technology industry: Playing in bands early in life helped me learn the technology, but when I was in college (like so many), I was broke, and Bob Gechter got me on with Crossroads Audio as a stagehand. That was my first real gig, and I spent the first 4 or 5 events coiling cable and moved on from there.
What professional accomplishment(s) are you most proud of?: I started with Alford in the warehouse, moved to a tech position, and then left... boomeranged back seven years later to a warehouse position, where I worked my way into the Sales position I am in today. The journey has been incredible.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve had in your career?: Leaving Alford. It was the most challenging career decision, and I feel blessed every day that I found my way back (and was let back in).
What’s your favorite holiday and why?: Halloween … it’s the least serious one.
What’s your favorite flavor of ice cream?: Chocolate
What was the BEST vacation you ever took?: Alaska Cruise
What’s the one movie you could watch repeatedly and why?: To Kill a Mockingbird. It’s just a classic with deep meaning and the best soundtrack.
What is your favorite thing about your job or the industry?: Watching attendees see the possibilities that can unfold before their eyes and the technology, creativity, and teamwork that makes a client’s vision a reality.

What accomplishment(s) are you most proud of in your personal life?: Being a mother to the best kids in the world, never being afraid to try something new, and having friends and family that support all my crazy ideas.
It’s lunchtime – what is your fail-proof, always “good choice” restaurant/food choice?: Pho is my comfort food.
Who is your favorite Disney/cartoon character, and why?: Eeyore, I had a stuffed Eeyore as a kid, and he was my favorite.
